Great Room: The open concept floor plan keeps the conversation flowing.
These images do not
do the mellow coloring of the pine logs and the Bruce oak hardwood
floors justice.

 |
Great Room: The great
room offers a view of the Klickitat River through 12inch deep over
sized windows. The Klickitat River is seen along thoughout this window.

 |
Entry: The pine logs
and paneling glow with natural color as you walk up the Burber carpeted
stairs to the second floor. You can see the character of the banister
log and the colors in the slate floor. A comparison between
the logs and the outside door conveys a the size of the logs used in
the construction.

 |
Wood Stove: The wood stove
provided secondary heat and a warm glow during winter evenings. Primary
heat is a new Carrier
Heat Pump system. The slate and oak
hardwood floors continue across the great room.

 |
Great Room: Seated on the sofa
looking up at the ridge pole and mellow pine ceiling you get a feeling
for the expanse of the two story great room and the size of the open
loft. The two ceiling fans stir the summer air. The master
bedroom space is to the left and has the same lofty ceiling.
Visible in this view of this Custom Log Home is the center
post with two of the four knee braces. The whirling 52in
blades of
ceiling fan when compared with the center beam display the great size
of the center beam. There is a small loft to the right of this view.

Great Room: This is the small
loft area over the kitchen and dining room. It currently is used as a
small home office. |
|
Great Room: A unique bar has been created with the addition
of an antique ice box and glass shelves. Note
the size and "character" of one of the many large unusual logs found
throughout the log home. The hardwood floors continue throughout the
Log Home. |
